A bit of visual overload today, and auditory overload also. Our bus took us to Caesarea to see the ruins of an amphitheatre, a hippodrome, Herod’s palace and a Roman aqueduct.

Arrived at LAX International and met up with the rest of the group around 9:15am. We checked in as a group around 10:30am, we had to answer some questions before proceeding to security. At 12:45pm we took a bus to our plane, about a mile away from the main terminal. The weather is pleasant and the company is friendly and amiable.

A ten day trip to Israel with a group of 16 people from Westgate Church, an opportunity to visit the country that we hear about every Sunday. I have been told that it can be a life changing experience, that it will make reading the bible richer and more meaningful.
