Online reviews of Virgin Australia were mixed, but we had little trouble. Sure, it was a long, brutal 14-hour flight, but that wasn’t their fault. Good entertainment system, but as it was a redeye, we tried to sleep. Hard, in such cramped conditions.<\/p>\n

Breakfast at 3:30 am by our biological clocks. Merrianne’s Fritata with grilled tomato and greens was superior to my ordinary eggs and sausage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I watched portions of movies on the entertainment system, but soon got too sleepy. They turned off all the lights. In the dark, while I was dozing off, I crossed the equator for the first time in my life. I’m now further south than I’ve ever been, and we’ll be going further south, yet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
