Correction, we are in Namche, not Namanche, sorry for the error. The weather is getting colder and the flights from Lukla are backed up so we are now going to fly out of Namche in a helicopter on November 2. So much of the schedule has changed that I can’t detail it all here but flexibility has been key. We will be in Kathmandu two days earlier, but will be home on schedule. It will cost $750 more, but the alternative is being stuck in Lukla for 3 or 4 days.
Great stories about the squirrels and the food exchange with Mona, keep those stories coming.
