We saw a lot of different birds on the Savannah, vultures, secretary birds, Maribous, to name a few.Here I am in front of the Mara Simba Lodge with part of our group walking out to the jeeps.Roderick’s note: can you see the difference between this picture and the one above?These vervet monkeys were all around the lodge.We came during peak season, there were many more jeeps than I expected, sometimes there were small traffic jams.A sausage tree, these pods are very heavy, wouldn’t want to have one fall on you.
